Why We Love Cheap Single Pushchair (And You Should Too!)

Cheap Single Pushchairs

The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a tight budget and don't require an extra stroller that can be used as car seat carriers. It comes with a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also a breeze to push and feels sturdy in navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation for being the ultimate lightweight stroller, both for city dwellers as as jet-setters. This is due to its extremely nimble handling and fold which fits in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. This latest version features independent suspension on all four wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer, allowing it to  effortlessly navigate all terrains and types'.

The base YOYO2 frame, curved fabric bassinet and 6+ month colour pack come together to create a stylish pushchair that is easy on the eyes, with a subtle but elegant aesthetic and tasteful branding. The base frame alone weighs just over a kilogram and is so light you can easily lift it from the box (and do it with one hand).

It's also easy to add or remove adaptors or attachments - the hood, for instance, snaps onto the YOYO2 by clicking - as well as being machine washable to help deter staining from rice cakes smushed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It can also be transformed into a stroller at 6 months using the YOYO connect other chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great option for parents looking for a versatile stroller wagon. It can be converted from a stroller to a wagon by simply flipping the handle, which means parents can choose the mode they prefer for their adventure. The wagon can be used by one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years old, and it has a wide storage basket to accommodate everything you need on the go.

The Xplore has two canopies that rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for the entire family. It has a smaller footprint than some wagons.  Push Chairs And Prams  might not be ideal for long drives or napping.

The frame on the Xplore is solid and sturdy but it doesn't have as much flexibility as other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition, and it does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored high in our Strollers and Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put in a trunk of a car. It also comes with a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as a cup holder for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our push and turn test it performed better than most of the other cheap strollers we tried, but it's not the easiest to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the smallest strollers we tested. They only cover the top of the stroller and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

It took us less than 3 minutes to assemble the Delta using a standard manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. However, it is missing some critical features we believe you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller, such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. It is suitable from birth until 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be converted easily with just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and a reversible car seat.

It's really easy to maneuver, and the one-hand reclining of the seat and the massive shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child in and out of the seat quickly. This compact pushchair can handle all day bumps and doorways with ease.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward-facing position, or they can rotate. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. When we walked on the stony path, we let them move and it did this quite well, although it seemed more bumpy than the other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is a household name for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It folds easily and fits easily in the trunk of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It weighs more than other strollers that we test, but since it has rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all kinds of terrain, and it's easy to move, even when loaded with two kids and shopping bags.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that can be lowered to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams, which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have an ample basket that is deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of groceries. You can also pair it with a Baby Jogger car seat for infants that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are available separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to use a stroller on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents all over the world. It's a stroller made of aluminum that will see you through your baby's initial days and beyond. It's got a lot of standout features, like the capacity of the seat to be turned between parent and world facing, a large UPF50+ canopy with a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with a built-in suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam and reduce punctures. It was simple to push and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through narrow streets.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It can also be folded and repositioned for easy transport down the stairs or in the car's boot. It also comes travel system ready with the option to add a car seat and a carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes are simple to use using a single action color coded and flip-flop friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This single pushchair that is budget-friendly is surprisingly easy to handle and has an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also very light and durable. The seat can be reclined into a variety of different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress built in that is suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat features two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best since it's not as silent as Velcro and could wake up napping babies.

The Duet is a angled stroller that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with a few carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be set so that they face each the other. They can also be set to face the parents. This can help to reduce sibling arguments over who sits with mom and dad. It has a huge gear tray, bottle holder snack tray, and the ability to change mats. It also has a superior folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the perfect stroller for parents who like to be active. It's among the lightest strollers for running that you can buy your child. It also comes with great safety features, such as the 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It also has an innovative twist hand brake that's distinct from the lever-type found on competing models.

The seat is very comfortable and provides plenty of space to sit. However, the seat isn't as deep as those of other runners (it's just 10 inches deep") The storage bin is equipped with an enclosed zipper to help keep items secure. It can hold up to 10lbs, which is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most bassinets and infant car seats, but you can use them starting from the first day using adapters that work with brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and put together in just 5-10 minutes with no tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and is available in multiple languages.
